NORTH STAR FARM- Killen, AL  Our mission is to produce delicious, nutrient dense, clean food in a sustainable way, using farming practices that work with nature to enrich the farm and ensure a quality of life for our animals. 

 Our heritage breed pigs live naturally in an oak tree wooded forest and chemical free grassy meadow where they are free to forage.  Our drove feeds on a rich diet of grass, roots, acorns and nuts, while they are rewarded with a bit of non-GMO feed daily, prepared without the use of hormones or antibiotics.  

Red Wattles are known to be hardy, and forage well. 

Red wattle pork is prized by chefs across the country for its delicious flavor. We process at a USDA facility which means that all pork is suitable and legal for sale through restaurants or retail outlet.
